We’re two writers who write YA novels, movie and TV scripts, and songs. We also make short movies. One of us is A, one of us is D, hence AD… (see what we did there?) We like to think of AD Croucher as our superhero identity… or maybe our band.

We love YA, and we get super inspired by Laini Taylor, Patrick Ness, James Dashner, J.K. Rowling, Beth Revis, and many others! We also love TV and get really fired up by shows like Supernatural, Doctor Who, Chuck, Buffy, The Vampire Diaries… and Gavin & Stacey, if we’re honest.

We worship Joss Whedon, Russell T. Davies, J.J. Abrams, Felicia Day, Julie Plec… those people who know how to tell complex, emotionally involving, funny and thrilling stories about characters you truly care about.

Our happy place is basically some weird freaky science hybrid of San Diego Comic Con and Nashville. Preferably with a sofa.
